With my Knicks on vacation (as usual) I’m rooting for & picking the Thunder to win it all. If only because of Durant. Who I think has a chance to be Jordan & Kobe’s heir apparent.

With Rose & Howard out for the playoffs, the only team in the east capable of beating the Heat are the Knicks.. and judging from their 1st game? The Heat are pretty much a lock for the NBA Finals. But of course, I would LOVE to be proven wrong by the Knicks! Hoping against hope that they can pull it off..

I’m a long time Knicks fan, but I still think its fucked up what the players did to D’Antoni. I mean, it says a lot about the character of a team that refuses to play hard for a head coach/manager that they don’t like. The Giants players, for years, had their issues with Coughlin but STILL won 2 Super Bowls with him. The Yankees LOVED Joe Torre, especially Jeter, but they didn’t throw Girardi under the bus. They went on to win a WS with him as well. I respect a team that can put aside their personal feelings about a coach & just play hard, give 100% regardless. The Knicks didn’t do that. But with all that said, I’m still a Knicks fan & hope they can make a run this year & years to come. Just telling it like it is though.
Most NBA experts/analysts are predicting a blowout win for the Heat tonight. If that were to happen, I wonder how many Knicks fans are gonna jump ship and not be patient while this current team gels and finds its identity. There’s still plenty of season left..
